SAP Project Manager

Job Description:

A highly experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA on RISE. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, and project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Manage project stakeholder relationships and expectations by coordinating project communications, conducting meetings, and resolving issues.
Resource Management: Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
Project Execution and Control: Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Quality Assurance: Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle. Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar Project Management certification is highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 12 of experience in IT project management. Proven experience in managing SAP S/4HANA implementations. Experience with RISE with SAP and cloud-based ERP solutions.
Skills: Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). Excellent understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, modules, and functionalities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field. Experience with SAP Activate methodology.Familiarity with change management processes and tools.Knowledge of industry-specific best practices and regulatory requirements.
Work Environment: The role may involve working outside of standard business hours to meet project deadlines.
