An experienced SAP PM Lead to oversee the implementation, hypercare, and ongoing support of SAP S/4HANA on RISE for our EPC projects. The SAP PM Lead will be responsible for managing the Plant Maintenance module, ensuring it meets the complex needs of our engineering, procurement, and construction operations. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Management: Lead the implementation of the SAP PM module as part of the SAP S/4HANA on RISE project. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals. Coordinate with other functional leads to ensure seamless integration and data flow between SAP modules. Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Conduct workshops and meetings to gather detailed business requirements specific to plant maintenance in the EPC industry. Analyze and map these requirements to SAP PM functionalities, identifying gaps and proposing solutions. System Design and Configuration: Design and configure the SAP PM module to support maintenance planning, execution, and reporting. Develop and implement custom solutions where standard SAP functionalities do not meet business needs. Ensure the system design supports compliance with industry regulations and standards. Integration Management: Ensure robust integration between SAP PM and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FICO, PS) as well as third-party systems. Coordinate data migration activities, ensuring accurate and complete transfer of legacy maintenance data. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify and resolve defects and issues, ensuring the solution meets quality and performance standards. Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for end-users, focusing on system functionalities and best practices. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance during the hypercare phase and beyond. Hypercare and Continuous Improvement: Provide immediate post-implementation support during the hypercare phase, addressing any issues or defects promptly. Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with other teams to design and implement system enhancements. Ongoing Support and Maintenance: Manage the ongoing support and maintenance of the SAP PM module, ensuring system stability and performance. Monitor system performance, identifying and addressing any issues proactively. Implement regular system updates, patches, and enhancements to maintain optimal functionality. Project Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for project performance and system utilization. Generate and distribute regular status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and issues. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. SAP certification in Plant Maintenance (PM) is highly desirable. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP PM implementation and support, preferably within the EPC industry. Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and RISE with SAP implementations. Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycles and associated plant maintenance processes. Skills: Expertise in SAP PM module configuration and customization. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field. Experience with SAP Activate methodology. Familiarity with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FICO, PS) and their integration with SAP PM. Knowledge of EPC industry-specific best practices and regulatory requirements. Work Environment: The role may involve working outside of standard business hours to meet project deadlines.
