The SAP SD Consultant will be part of highly motivated and passionate team. You will be responsible for the team that performs all system maintenance, project development, migration projects. Resource will be responsible for the team that performs all development tasks within SAP Projects at all from idea, technical design, implementation, quality assurance, test, to cut-over support. He/she is responsible for leadership and ownership of Delivery and contractual requirements across managed environments.

Manage, implement, and strategize the design, development and implementation of customization and enhancements through the development, establishment and implementation of projects with customization and enhancement in the areas Sales and Distribution (SD). Integration to Production Planning (PP), Materials Management and Warehouse Management (MM/WM), Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Human Resources (HR) by covering its functionalities, integrated solutions and capabilities in order to achieve efficient operability, compliance and sustains productivity thus enhancing the value creation for Division business through IT innovation and support the business to attain operational excellence.

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies S/4 HANA and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company’s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organization’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.

The SAP SD Lead Consultant is motivated to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the services’ agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills. 

Responsibilities

  • Point of contact and subject matter expert for SAP SD delivery and operations teams

  • Experience in implementation phases, gap-fit analysis, configuration, build, testing, rollout, and post-implementation support for SAP S/4 HANA (Brown field & Green field implementations).

  • Team member to implement new functionalities and improve existing functionalities including requirement analysis and converting them into effective solutions.

  • Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversion programs for SD functionalities.

  • Experience in working with teams to prioritize work and drive system solutions based on business needs

  • Work with developers and other SAP team to make sure that the developments and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals.

  • Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing.

  • May be required to work on pre-defined shift plans and/or be on standby for operations support.

  • Own Service and Incident Management and involve in change management process

  • Drive automation in the SAP SD areas.

  • Drive best practices within teams with respect to SAP Industry specific solutions.

  • Develop strategic SAP Roadmaps for our customers covering key topics and initiatives

  • Develop Build and drive management relationships with large, global customers

  • Identify customer needs and advise on services & solutions

  • Develop S/4HANA transformations scenarios.

  • Identify and drive sales opportunities together with the account teams.

  • Interface with customers and own all deliverables for customers.

  • Define continuous improvement plan and drive its execution.


Primary Skills and Qualifications

  • Candidate should have min of 2 + years of SAP SD/SAP Fico/SAP ABAP OR Any Module experience with atleast 1 End-to-End S4 HANA Implementation Projects. Specializing in (Brown field & Green field) implementation and support.

  • Must have experience of work on a Japanese project, should be very familiar with the Japanese culture and should be able to work with Japanese colleagues and clients as one team.

  • Fluent in Japanese language (speaking, reading & writing) being able to communicate well with Japanese customer (N1 , N2 or N3 certified )

  • Experience in Business requirements gathering, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, testing, cut over, post-go live support.

  • Knowledge in preparation of detail specifications for Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements and Forms development of custom programs

  • Team player having experience in coordinating across Modules and with the technical team.

  • SAP Certification is an added advantage.

  • Well-versed with SAP Activate Methodology.

  • DevOps & Agile methodology experience, working with small agile teams with strong ownership and drive.

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new frameworks/technologies and quickly integrate with them for automation of service delivery.

  • Must have experience of working on pursuit activities including project planning for atleast 3 deals / Projects.

  • The candidate should be a Degree in BE/BTech/MSC/MBA/MCA with good academic records from premier institute.
