Job Description:
• Install, configure, and maintain various database platforms (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS
SQL).
• Perform regular backups and recoveries to ensure data integrity.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues.
• Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Manage user accounts and access controls.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, tuning, and query optimization.
• ETL Development and Management:
• Design and implement ETL pipelines using ETL tools (SSIS, Talend).
• Extract data from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, flat files).
• Transform data to meet specific business requirements.
• Load data into the data warehouse efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor and maintain ETL jobs for optimal performance.
• Document ETL processes and procedures.
