Senior Procurement Executive

Job Description:

Skills: • Knowledge in Boilers, Heaters working, Fuel Handling System & Ash Handling system. • Well vendor negotiation skill • Basic administration - vendor coordination, customer coordinator etc. • Procurement proficiency in managing O&M Procurement • Contract management, Material management. Experience: • 5-10 years’ experience working in the renewable-energy industry. • A minimum of 3 years current or previous experience in a Boiler Industry. Experience working with Biomass Boiler preferred

Roles and responsibilities:

Follow standard operating procedures for all procurement, sub-contracting and supply chain activities for Bioenergy operations. • Responsible for Spares / Inventory management of Bioenergy O&M operations across India. • Document and manage vendor commercials (quotes, negotiation, purchase order) & tracking of open PR-PO- GRN-Payment and preparing weekly report for BE O&M sites. • Managing Purchase Requests, Creation of Purchase orders and Vendor follow-up to ensure timely delivery of goods / services. • Co-ordination with site team for PR, GRN details and record and monitoring inventory. • Develop vendors for requirement and tie up with OEM for O&M support and spares availability. • Co-ordinate with internal team to understand technical requirement and new vendor development. • Coordinate and support the fuel procurement team for fuel sourcing. • Provide training to trainees/plant team on procurement SOP, including all procurement concepts and material follow-up.
