Data Architect

Job Description:

Must Have Skills/Competencies:

• Architecting, designing and developing Data warehouse solutions (in premise and on the cloud)
• Assess, capture, and translate complex business issues and requirements into structured analytics use case, including rapid learning of industry/domain/client dynamics and development of effective work-stream plans
• Implementing standards and best practices for the effective and efficient delivery of enterprise DATA WAREHOUSE, to achieve optimal performance and focus on end-user experience
• Define Architecture, data modelling, design, high-level design documentation, and NFR planning Senior developer (RedShift, AWS RDS, SQL Server, Cloud ETL, Python), technical supervision, communication with client technical team, execution process, low-level technical documentation, NFR testing Communication with the client-end infrastructure team for Deployment Architecture
• Identify and troubleshoot business process, data quality or performance issues that show up in the reports and subsequently communicate to resolve and eliminate problems
• Support business development efforts (proposals and client presentations)
• Estimate effort and cost for a data and DATA WAREHOUSE solution
• Lead and mentor junior resources

Nice to Have Skills/Competencies:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in providing data solution with experience in designing, developing, debugging & maintaining Data Pipeline / Data warehouse / BI reports / dashboards
• 2+ years of experience in providing data solution.
• Strong data modeling and SQL fundamentals
• Must understand infrastructure (Security, Governance, Cloud Deployment strategies) to be successful in this role
• Exposure to the migration of on-premise to the cloud as well as another reporting tool.
• Experience with other Data Visualization and BI tools (nice to have)
• Experience on any cloud technologies like AWS OR GCP.
