Job Description:
Perform daily monitoring and management of the backup environment
Perform problem management and incident correlation on re-occurring issues
Create and provide reports for backup and storage environments, related activities, and tasks
Create and update documentation for backup environments
Be an escalation point on all backup issues
Local and international projects internal career opportunities
Access to high class technologies
Develop and exhibit technical subject matter expertise on the assigned backup and storage systems along with associated processes and procedures
Perform change management and incident management for backup and archiving infrastructure Monitors, escalates, and re-mediate ·NAS & SAN device/application {access, performance, events} alerts to identify/ potential incidents Provide storage provisioning for NAS/CAS/SAN systems
Providing level three DAS, SAN, NAS Configuring and administering support and expertise as it relates to the storage environment as needed
Implement, maintain, monitor, performance tuning and upgrade Network Attached Storage (NAS) environment
Storage Array/NAS Performance Tuning
Requires expertise with the design, configuration, and administration, tuning, optimizing and troubleshooting for NFS/CIFS protocol on NetApp and EMC Isilon storage arrays
Understand and troubleshoot the SMB, NFS and CIFS shares networking protocols
