Global Capability Center (GCC)

A Global Capability Center is a dedicated offshore unit that a multinational company owns and operates directly to run core technology, engineering, or operations work in-house, rather than outsourcing that work to a third-party vendor. Staff are employees of the parent company's local entity, not vendor resources.
